Celebrating our 9th year of competition, Holy Smokes is proud to bring you a live, front row seat to an exciting lineup of entertainers.

Saturday Afternoon

The Philosphers

The Philosophers are made up of three seventh grade boys, Callen Shutts, Cure of Ars, Thomas Auckland and Joe Torres, both from St. Peter’s. They cover a wide variety of songs, from Nirvana, to Kings of Leon, to Young the Giant and lots in between as well as some originals. As a group they work together, with each taking turns on drums, guitar, and bass. The Philosophers enjoy playing all types of events and look forward to their first performance at Holy Smokes!

The Holy Smokes BBQ Contest at Curé of Ars is the most successful and well attended social event at Curé. The reason for our continued success is that our entire event has become not just a BBQ contest, but an event in which everyone can participate.
